How to Prevent Students from Asking Someone to Do My Exam?

The world is slowly gravitating towards a new beginning. We saw major changes in our lives due to the Corona Virus. The virus managed to disable the world in a matter of months, and the year 2020 has been life-changing for most of us. Most of these changes have been negative. From Australia’s wildfire to causalities all around, nature seems enraged. As a result in this chaos many students started to ask someone to do my exam for me.

We have changed how we live, meet, and interact. It is nearly impossible for us to live the way we used to. You cannot leave your homes without wearing masks due to the fear of contamination. The need for sanitizers and protective gear has also increased. We can think of the virus outbreak as a new beginning to the world. It has also changed how the world will advance. Take education as an example.

The Trend Of Asking To Do My Exam

The trend of online education has emerged in education. I cannot imagine doing my exam the way students are in these times. I never thought that we would face such a situation back in high school. Online classes have altered the whole concept of education and grading. I am sure any of our forefathers would feel astonished if they could see how we are learning today.

The new system has its perks and its drawbacks. E-learning is flexible and allows students worldwide to learn. It does not require much apart from an internet connection and a digital device. Plus, It is not as expensive as traditional education. It is a subjective approach to education. With all these positive effects, there are some drawbacks too.

Demerits of Online Learning:

The worst disadvantage of learning is that it is easier to cheat. E-learning provides enhanced methods of cheating than the physical approach. Cheating tactics are not limited to using secondary sources during the exam. Students tend to assign their exams to websites too. I have found several students seeking out professional help to do my exam. It not only makes things harder for others but also hinders their development.

I am quite worried about the students that do my exam because of this. Multiple websites provide class and exam help for money. They maintain the confidentiality of the student and make it hard for them to get caught. These exams are plagiarism-free if they are from a well-known website.

The teachers have no option but to grade the students well on their exams. It is not unchallenging to verify whether the students have attempted the test themselves or not. Smart monitoring system and check and balance abilities can help teachers. The students seem to find loopholes in the paper, and get things going their way.

What Is The Answer?

The best way to deal with this situation is to counsel students. Students need to realize the immorality of cheating. Cheating not only gives rise to injustice but also takes the rights of others. Those who cheat in exams are likely to keep it up later in life. Exams are the primary stage of personal discipline. If students learn to be vigilant and honest at this instant, it becomes more comfortable to stay this way.

Reforms In The System:

The next essential thing to minimize cheating in exams is to bring necessary changes in the operating. It does not only mean changing how we conduct exams but also how we teach. Teaching plays a vital role in the whole process. If students go through meaningful lectures and get the deserved credit for their work. It becomes easier for them to feel appreciated. Getting awarded for hard work refrains students from indulging in unfair means. This practice can change how we perceive the whole concept of education. These minor strategic changes help reduce the ratio of cheating in exams.

Prioritize Learning Over Grades:

One of the most important things to keep in mind is that students need to learn that grades are not more important than learning. The rate of cheaters will reduce if we make students realize that scores are not as important as learning. We need to remind students that there is no need for unfair means.

Resetting the mind of the youth towards this perception can help drop the rates of cheating drastically. These are some of the tactics that I will be applying before students do my exam.

Focus More On Participation-Based Approach:

Another important tip is to focus more on participation during class. Participation helps the students to make efforts consistently. Students will stay engaged in class constantly. It will improve their working abilities, and the increased knowledge will help them ace the exams. Students will not require external help if they are well prepared for the exam. Grading students on participation also reduces the need for external checking. It relieves students from excessive stress and makes it easier for them to cope up with the exam. Students will earn most of their grades before they do my exam and will not go for the wrong methods to ace the exam.

Changing the approach towards the exam is the most crucial tool to change the attitude of students. It will help incline their mind towards honest examinations. We need to correct their minds instead of trying to reform the systems only. It is a collective effort of both factors.

Conclusion:

Teachers need to reformulate such tips and techniques that help the student realize the actual aim of exams. The exams should be grade oriented rather than learning-oriented. It makes it easier for students to cope up with the needs of the paper without taking too much pressure. Balanced exams refrain students from indulging in ways that are not correct. Students need to realize that the purpose of exams is not to grade the student’s paper, rather the learning. Things can change for the better if students start to realize the importance of making the most of the learning experience. They should not chase short term goals when they do my exam.
